Mindfulness

The concept of mindfulness within ourselves and the environment surrounding us is a huge part of what created Friends of Kennard Park in the first place. This park is a beautiful and somewhat magical place. From the moment you enter the park you are immersed in a land of purity. Lush greens, winding paths, and the sounds of birds once studied by Frederick H. Kennard himself. Our park makes the perfect place for reflective thinking, meditation, yoga, really any form of mindfulness. When one allows him or herself to witness their thoughts and feelings without attachment, they can experience a deeper inner peace. Being in nature cleanses the stresses of life.
